Question:

What races should be included in "The Chase"?

The schedule is rediculous. It doesn't include a date at Daytona, Bristol, Darlington, & no road course. How can you get a champion that doesn't include some of Nascar's best, most famous, & most diverse tracks? A champion should have to drive the best tracks & those tracks should get the dates of the last 12 races which make up "The Chase".

Your thoughts please and thanks!

  1. There are too many 1.5 mile tracks inthe chase.   A road course should be included. Otherwise it diminshes the 2 that are on the regular schedule. All those races boil down to now is a chance for the guys that are good road racers to pick up extra bonus points once the chase starts.

Bristol or Martinsville should be included. I don't mind Homestead Miami being in the chase, but I don't like it being the season finale.

  2. i would like to see a road course added but overall i like the chase tracks

  3. 1. daytona (start the season and the chase)

    2. atlanta

    3. bristol

    4. a road course

    5. texas

    6. darlington

    7. talladega

    8. lowe's

    9. phoenix

    10. vegas

hey, i want the finale to be close to where i am!!!

  4. 1. Bristol

    2. Phoenix

    3. Homestead

    4. Darlington

    5. Pocono

    6. Talledega

    7. Richmond

    8. Martinsville

    9. Texas

    10. Dover

  5. Definitely Watkins Glen. The "chase" doesn't need Daytona because they have the variable of Talladega.

  6. The Chase races are just fine.  They have already raced on the Big ones to get to the chase.  Why repeat?   BTW, the Chase is only 10 races.  After the 26th race of the season, before The Chase begins and all drivers in the top 12 in points qualify for The Chase.

  7. I agree at least about the road courses. They have Talladega which is the superspeedway. But Bristol should be in there since it is the shortest track. Also it should be the last 12 races

  8. I think it is pretty fair.  With only 2 road courses a year, I do not think one should be in the Chase.  Bristol should start the Chase.  Take out Loudon (move it to August).  Texas, Atlanta, Talladega, Homestead and Lowe's are all fine with me.  Pheonix, too.  I think Kansas should be swapped for Michigan (there are no 2 mile tracks in the Chase and California is not deserving).  Swap Martinsville for Darlington.   Actually, swap Las Vegas and Homestead.  Nothing against Homestead, but Vegas is more Chase worthy.

So, my Chase line-up would be:

    1.  Bristol

    2.  Michigan

    3.  Atlanta

    4.  Dover

    5.  Texas

    6.  Darlington

    7.  Talladega

    8.  Pheonix

    9.  Las Vegas

    10.  Lowe's

  9. I would like to see Bristol in for Kansas and Richmond in for Martinsville. I dont think Nascar is going to change it anytime soon. I have to add I would kinda like to see Watkins Glen in there also.
