I'm trying to find out the program the NWS uses at their offices to analyze radar pictures. I know it is fancy and probably expensive, but I can't think of the name. Thanks

  1. I couldn't find the answer to your question anywhere on the internet. If you want to know the answer badly, then contact the NWS to find out.

  2. Doppler?  I don't understand.  They don't use programs.  The radar receives the data and special software downloads the data so it can be analyzed by qualified meteorologists.  Radars like the ones NWS use nationwide are thousands and thousands of dollars each.
