  1. Sorry, there are no current railroads, at least in the United States, that would have those initials.  Possibly, they were the initials of a road long since gone through merger or abandonment.  My guess is that the last would be "and Northern", but I can't imagine what the SB would be for.

    Someone out there has a model railroad called the Sturgeon Bay and Newport, which would have the initials SB&N, but it was the only one I could find.  Just to be clear, this is not a real railroad, just the name of an imaginary one that someone is basing their model railroad on.  There's a link below, if you're interested.


  2. b and n  stands for burlington and northern.  i don't know what the s stands for.

  3. Syracuse, Binghamton & New York was the closest I could find, but it didn't list reporting marks, which means it could actually be SB&NY.
