What really annoys you about trains in UK......?

i had a really bad journey last night.......it made me want to scream......

ticket prices - they are so much higher than the rest of europe

Ignorant b*****ds who try to board the train before people have finished getting off, and also the twerps who share their music with the entire carriage.

I am also annoyed by drunken, loud soccer fans who have no consideration for others.

Overcrowded

Cancelled or delayed for no apparent reason

Lack of information and mumbled tannoy announcements that no one could possibly understand

Endless ticket checks - usually my ticket is checked about 4 times in the one journey.

Charges - considering the problems above how can they even have the nerve to charge anything!!!

the time its takes u 2 walk up the stairs cause the moving ones is out of order and when people push u to get on the train and stands on ya toes

Apart from the cost, lack of seats especially on commuter services at rush hour.

usually when youre travelling on virgin cross country services and theres about a thousand people all crammed onto a 4 car train because they wont put an extra carriage on and then out of 4 toilets on the train 3 are out of order

The fact that they are privatised and when something goes wrong its a blame game. Also the huge under investment over decades which has resulted in the modern chaos.

Having to pay extortionate prices just to be crammed in like sardines on a late running poorly maintained train when you can use the trains in Europe and they're new, fast, double deckers and you can go double or triple the distance for the same price with air-conditioning, enough seats for all and proper leg room!

amount of carts on the train is minimum a 45 min train ride to Birmingham from Nuneaton most people are standing because of the lack of carts. it is very dangerous!

when they have a strange smell lurking that wont go away and you dont know what it is but you know its bad and dont want to touch anything

When one person sits in each pair of seats, so that when two people get on, like a mother and child, there are no two seats together, and no-one offers to move! And people who put their bags on seats-is the bag alive then? What really drives me nuts more than anything is when people push and shove and push in front of poeple who were there first to get on the train.

What annoys me is the ticket prices. £106 (rounded up price) per month to travel 10 miles!

Another thing that annoys me is the people who moan about trains even though at this point in time 87% of the trains are running on time and that is dispit 1/2 of Britian is flooded, & some railway lines are still under water!

And another thing is even though I find the ticket price bad, I then  remember that rebuilding of the stations, track ect, is in the Billions (Kings Cross will cost £410,000,00 just to get it up to scratch)

So my main moan will be about the people who Privatised the railway in the first place and the lack of investment that took place when Rail Track were in-charge!
