What really happens after you die?

i really wanna know because im scared to die

That really depends on your "faith".

Some faiths believe you passover to another existence; without cares or troubles - quite usually referred to as Heaven.

Some faiths believe that you pass through this existence over and over again; until you reach a state of perfection - whereby you then passover to another level of consciousness.

Personally, I believe that when we die, we wake from the dream that is this mundane life; and we are once again whole, and united with the "God consciousness".  We remember all the adventures we have had through our successive dreams (lives), and reunite with all our friends (soul mates) to plan our next adventure (life experience).

That's my belief - and I have no fear of dying whatsoever.  Because I know that death merely means awakening to my true essence/self.

What are you afraid of?  Your body will be dead and turn to ashes, eventually.

Your eternal spirit will return to the Great Spirit.  

You better get some understanding of life, before you die.  We all die and that is the easy part.  Living a good life is the other side of it.

If you received Jesus into your heart, you are saved. If not, sadly, you go to h**l when you die.

If you want to avoid h**l and have eternal life, go in a room, close the door, and pray: "Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for my sins. I want to receive Him as my Personal Savior. I receive His gift of salvation. I confess that I did many bad things. Please forgive me. Keep me away from evil. Help me in times of trouble. And let me grow in Your grace and knowledge. Amen."

If you have said this prayer, you are now a child of God. If you die, if you said this prayer before, you will be saved and you'll be in heaven. But if you did not say this prayer, you are in danger of eternal torment in h**l.

h**l was never meant for people; they chose to go there because they chose to reject Christ.

I really want you to be saved. Please, be willing to become a child of God, a born again Christian. (John 3) and you will have eternal life. There are only two doors: one to heaven, one to h**l. I want you to go to heaven, and by doing that I want to save you.

Nothing, I reckon it's like being asleep but without the dreams.  One minute you're still aware and the next..........nothing.

But the truth is, nobody knows.  Nobody has been there.  People tell about when they've died on the operating table and seen a white light and gone towards it an all that, but that might actually be something to do with their own brain shutting down and then starting up again, after that, nobody has gone and come back so they can't tell you.

Maybe your spirit lives on, but what happens to the body - nothing, it becomes a shell.

Don't worry about it though - if it was that bad, when people saw the ghosts of their dead relatives, I'm sure some of them would mention it!

Let's take Jesus as an example to what happens after you die. The bible tells us in Luke 23:46

And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

Today when a believer dies they are passed from death unto life in the spirit with God. The unbelievers and evil doers are confined to a place of torment (h**l) until the final judgment before the great white throne (Rev 20:11) when all the wicked will then be cast into the lake of fire.(Rev 20:14)

God's people are not afraid of death because they know it's only physical. We know that being with God in His kingdom is no comparison with this earthly life. We look forward to it.

What I am about to say comes directly from the King James Bible as I believe God and His Bible totally.

When everyone  Is born God supplied the 'breath of life' and he becomes a living soul.

Genesis 2:7  And the LORD God . . .  breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Note: man is a soul, man does not posses a soul

At death, when a man's breath goes forth, he dies - his being, his "soul" perishes. only a living man is a living soul.!  Dead is dead. There is no "soul" that goes out of the body to live elsewhere! No "soul" goes immediately to heaven or h**l. Dead is dead!

"for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. " Genesis 3:19  

Hebrews 9:27  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

John 5:29  And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

The next event that everyone will experience will be the resurrection, as John says above, to face the results of his judgment.

Either an eternity in heaven, or eternally DEAD !

Everyone will live forever, but the question is, where? There are only two possible places, and that is heaven or h**l. There is no third place.

Are you sure that if you were to die right now, that you would be in heaven? You can be sure, by believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Death brings immediate heaven or h**l, depending ONLY on whether you believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this life or not.

To be in heaven when you die, believe this:

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is this: The truth is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal h**l is by believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe this and you are saved!

Please pray now: "Jesus, please forgive me of my sins. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and You rose from the dead. Thank You for eternal life!" You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die. :)
