What really makes arkansas the natural state?

im doing a project and ive decided to take do something other than the obvious. in your eyes, what makes arkansas the natural state? not just the fact that its considered "naturally beautiful." im not just talking about the scenery, more so the people, the individuals.

When I lived there, the old rich and forever poor were very proud to state that if a fence was put around the border, every natural resource was available in that boundary.  Arkansas has aluminum (bauxite), diamonds, etc.
