  7. I have several recipes and meal ideas on my blog, but I made this last night (blog has pics!)

    Hamburgers and Mushroom Soup Gravy

1 lb. ground beef (or ground turkey - I do use ground beef, extra lean though)

1 can Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup

    Milk

    Purple Onion

Make hamburger patties - 1 lb makes 3 large patties - season with salt, pepper and Season-All

While hamburger patties are cooking, mix 1 can Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup and 1/2 can of milk (for 2 cans of soup, use 1 can of milk, etc. depending on how much you're making) and cook as directed on can - do NOT add water; you are replacing water with milk, only cutting in half so 'gravy' is thicker

    Dice purple onion

Place cooked hamburger patty on plate and cover with Mushroom soup/gravy - top with onions and add salt/pepper to taste.

    2. For the chicken, heat the oil in an ovenproof pan over a medium heat and fry the chicken skin-side down for 6-8 minutes, or until the skin is crisp. Season well with salt and freshly ground black pepper, then turn over and cook for a minute or two on the other side.

    3. Add the chicken stock and butter to the pan. Transfer to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until completely cooked through. Set aside and keep warm.

  19. pbj and pasta

  20. you could make tacos for dinner...

just buy the ground beef... (that takes about 15 mins to cook)... then just buy shells, cheese, tomato, etc...

and thats dinner... it only takes 15 minutes... while you cook the meat, you can chop up the tomato and everything...

  21. Chicken Alfredo.

Go to the store and buy some fettuchini noodles.  (They are usually with the rest of the pasta's).

Buy some chicken b*****s (boneless and skinless).  LET THEM THAW!

Buy some canned alfredo sauce (Usually with the spaghetti sauces and possibly in the same aisle as the other pastas).

You'll need some basil and some parsley as well.  (Comes in bottles with the spices in your store).

    *******************

You can either grill the chicken or broil it in your oven.  (Broil means to leave your oven door cracked open while cooking.  There is normally a button on your oven that says 'broil' too.  If not, just turn the oven on to about 375 degrees.  You can also use some butter on the chicken if you wish, as well as some parsley and basil... also some garlic if you want!

Fill a pot with water (but not completely!  About 3/4 way through is plenty!)  Sprinkle some salt into the water in the pot.

Once the water boils, put the fettuchini noodles into the water and stir occasionally.  (The salt helps the noodles from sticking to the pot).

Boil the noodles for about 8 minutes and then taste one to see if its done.  If it's done, strain the noodles and run some cold water on top of them in the sink.  Then return them to the pot.

Open up some of your alfredo sauce and dump it on.  Sprinkle Parsley and Basil to taste.

After the chicken is done, you can slice it into strips or chop it into pieces and mix it in with the fettuchini noodle mixture.

This takes about 45 minutes to prepare fully.... but its definitely worth it!
