What reason did you EX give you for cheating, or why did he / she cheat?

Mine happened with my wife had cheated with her boss. They were working late for months trying to make a deadline. I was traveling for work and would be out of town for a day or two then return, but also be very busy. I guess she started to confide in him that she did not like the fact that I spent so much time out of town. Of course there were times they had dinner and drinks together so there was an unintentional bond growing between them. The comfort zone started to grow, and he would always be there when she needed to vent. I was more than likely on a trip. Naturally, one night it happened they had s*x, both said to each other it was wrong in the middle of the act, but in the throes of passion who could stop. Of course it went on for a while but it was she who approached me and confessed. I could not blame her, I too was at fault. We have grown past this situation and make it a point to spend quality time with each other. She still works with him and he and I have talked and he apologized for what he did.

You may think I am stupid, but truthfully, life is not perfect, and if you don't make the time for your spouse they will find someone that will take the time out to listen to them and make them feel like they have some sense of worth.

I respect him so much for being honest: He said he cheated because he could. His feelings for me, he called it love, were real; however, he was tempted to have s*x with other women because of his curiosity and his ability to just do it. He never thought I would find out in some of the cases--we were together for13 years and he got 3 women pregnant in that time, all had abortions--He would probably still be at it, if I had not bowed out gracefully as a wife to someone who clearly knew nothing about REAL love.

He worked for a moving company and was getting ready to go out of town on a job and along the way picked up his ex girl friend .

I found out about it and asked him about it and after denying it for so long he finally admitted that he did .  Of course I wanted to know the reason why he did it and his answer was " I only took her along so I could tell her that it was over " .  Yeah Fn right . And I was born yesterday .

He never did give a reason & actually never admitted it either.  I knew, all my friends knew, the whole town knew.  Cest La Vie.  Glad he's gone.

well heres an example that i think and hope you all will understand.well some people cheat bcuz they want to.others its like just seeing someone and want them.eg say for instant ur home not hungry but u just feeel for a pie.your gonna take it cuz u feel for it.same with a man and a woman see the opposite s*x u just want to to be with them for that day not knowing that u really dont want  to.

he denied denied denied! However SHE admitted. It boils down to that he was drunk and horney......then a couple days later he was single.

We had been together a year and a half, engaged. Last week he sent his EX girlfriend who still has feelings for him -flowers for her birthday.

He signed the card "Picture to follow, Love, Matt".

I told him that is considered cheating since he did not tell me he is still talking to her, AND sent her flowers, when he has NEVER sent me flowers or even a Christmas gift!
