  2. No-Bake Cookies

    4 ounces butter or margarine

    1/2 cup milk

    2 cups sugar

    1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

3 to 4 tablespoons peanut butter (optional)

3 cups oats, quick or old-fashioned

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Place chocolate chips, peanut butter (if used), oats, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Combine the margarine, milk, and sugar in a saucepan; bring to a rolling boil. Boil for 1 minute. Combine the hot mixture with the oatmeal and chocolate chip mixture; stir well. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.

Note: can be made with Just peanut butter alone if you don't have the chocolate.

    Enjoy!

  3. Any pasta or fish grill.meat grill even chips if you keep turning

  4. so you can only use the stove? haha ok. there are plenty or noodles and rice packs you can make, the basically only need milk, water, and butter. mac and cheese is always good haha.

  5. There are loads of food that you can make for children without using eggs on a stove. Chinese stir frys are a favourite and you can stir fry just about anything you want. Chicken, beef, pork with vegetables. I don't really recommend fish slices, as they tend to flake too easily. But shrimps (or prawns, depending which part of the world you are from) are great also.

Rice can be boiled on the stove and eaten with the stir frys.

If your oven top works well, you can do a series of cheese bakes, on bread, noodles, pasta, rice.

Cooking food requires a bit of creative thinking and a lot of risk. It is good to have a family with brave palates. Don't be afraid to experiment.

    Cheers.
