  1. I think  the only two records that will be broken anytime soon will be Favre's record and Emmit's record.  Peyton should eventually break Favre's record (barring injury of course), and LaDanian Tomlinson is well on his way to breaking Emmit's record - he has  10,650 yards in only 7 seasons.  If his current average of 1521 yards/year drops to 1285 yards/year he will break the rushing record in six years.  The rest are pretty tough.  There isn't a single active player in the top 20 interception leaders, and Rice's records are a long ways off for Moss and Owens.

  2. Anderson's record will last the longest.  I just don't see anyone else even coming close to it.

Favre' record will probably be broken first by Peyton Manning.  Manning will also probably get another ring or two, and should be considered among the top two or three QB's of all time.

This is coming from a Browns fan, not a Colts homer.

  3. No one will beat Emmits record in my lifetime. Even playing Madden, it's hard to break.

  4. they will all stay there for a long time.

But Emmit's will stay for years, there aren't any rb's that can last till they are 40 like him.

  5. Nobody will beat Shula's record, ever.  Coaches just can't last 20 years anymore.

Brett Favre's passing record should fall to Peyton Manning eventually, but then again Emmitt Smith's rushing record might fall to LaDainian Tomlinson even faster.  And LT is also making a run at Jerry Rice's TD record.

The INT record is also one that might not ever be broken; with the West Coast and spread offenses, individual cornerback's talents have been continuously minimized.  The most a good corner can hope for is that no one throws near them; just look at Nnamdi Asomugha, who is an elite corner, but only had 1 pick last year, even though he had 9 the year before that.

The sack record shouldn't even count, since they never counted sacks right.  I don't know if anyone can break it, and I don't think it matters since its kind of a fraudulent record anyway.

  6. 1. depends on how much longer favre plays....3 more seasons then its gonna depend on how long peyton plays and lets not forget Brady 3 more years then manning and he can have what ever

2.LT if he stays helthy then AP not long after that

3.dont know who is close but jerry is the man

4.prob wont last long maybe LT

    5. isnt he like 70yrs old

    6. maybe Never ppl are too good these days on offense and rules help recivers more these days to produce more scores fun to watch

    7. i can see that being broken atleast in the next few generations think about it its 15 sax for 13.5 seasons not including post season so about 10.5 season doing pretty good in play offs every once and a while

    8. probably never
