What reg program repairs your desktop after a virus? I've used the program before, but can't find it anymore.

Some viruses will change your desktop around (like give you a blue background)and this program would fix it, I'm pretty sure it started with reg, it's not regcure either

Most registry programs simply delete registry files that are not associated with a program. (left over entries)

Ccleaner is a good one for that.

Personally, I have never heard of one that writes to the registry, (other than what they write there for being able to run) that is done by installing a program.

If you only want to change you Desktop with Vista

Right click on you Desktop > click on Personalize > click on Desktop Backgrounds
