What region are US DVD players?

I want to buy dvds of an older tv show that were never sold in the USA. I found them online and the format was NTSC & PAL. The region was 0 (playable on regions 1,2,3,4,5,6). Will they work for me? THANKS!

yes ntcs is the us main format and i believe we are region 1

The US is region 1. If the region is set for 0 it will play everywhere

0 means region-free, so they will work.  I think USA is region 1 NTSC?

Region 0 means it can play on basically any DVD Player. US DVD players are region 1. You'll definitely be able to watch it. Hope this helps!
