  1. Yes, it's from Cataluña.


  2. Catalonia... as the name implies...

    It is a dessert similar to the french creme brulée.

    A soft custard covered with a sprinkle of sugar that is either caramelised under the grill in the oven, or with a special heated iron so that the sugar cover becomes dark and crunchy.

    Absolutely delicious!
