Natural supply of fossil fuel is depleating at a very fast rate and worst is the pollution and green house gases being produced by them. We are looking for other options for greener and cleaner energy and we have many :

Solar,

Wind,

Bio Gas,

Hydro and

Wave / Tidal

are just a few options we can try.

Out of all these Solar, Wind and Bio Gas are certainly the best. Hydro power generation is not very good for ecology as whole. For Hydro we have to block water in one region by making Dams and this creates a lot of problems.

In places having good cattle population Bio Gas based electricity generation units can be installed.

Solar, Hydro, Wind, and Ocean Wave/Tidal. All produces clean electricity. The issue is not really the resources, it is the ability to transport the energy from one location to another efficiently. Based on the above sources there is more than enough energy from clean sources, the issue is how to carry it...

the two alternatives are solar electricity for the hom, office, and business, and what are called fuel cell cars.
