Hello Oliver, according to the link that I give below, CO2 mostly comes from the natural decomposition of organic materials by microorganisms, and animal respiration (which includes the respiration of humans.) I didn't include fossil fuel burning here because that is brought about by man's activities, rather than being the by-product of the natural processes. For the record, fossil fuel emission is actually the leading cause of CO2 buildup in the atmosphere. Therefore, greenhouse gases are caused by man, not by nature.

98.5% of CO2 is produced naturally.

Also the biggest green house gas is water vapour.

So, forget CO2. Its not an issue as far as global warming is concerned. Global warming is a naturally occurring event. But this event has sparked a multi trillion dollar industry and become a new religion. Careful, if you disagree with the established view you will be branned a Heretic.
