What responsibilities what I have to do in horse training?

I am starting horse back riding training. iam learning how to jump and be in shows soon too. what do I have to do in horse training? do I have to clean it's stall? clean it's shoes? saddle the horse before training? brush the horse? feed the horse? wash the horse? are all those things I have to do? my trainer says I have at least brush and saddle the horse.

  3. Are you asking what you have to do while you are being trained?

    Different stables and trainers have different requirements, and you can select the trainer based on what you want to learn and do.  It's a good idea to brush and saddle it before your lesson; it's like a warmup for communicating with the horse.  If you're paying for the lessons, I think expecting you to wash or feed the horse is a bit much; cleaning the stall is a lot too much.

    Unless you want to, of course.  You can learn a lot from doing these things...  but frankly as far as I'm concerned, if I'm paying to do it once is enough.
