If your going to London for the food, then your going for the wrong reason.  Having lived there for a while, I lost 15 pounds due to the lack of edible choices.  Your best bet is the most touristy, chainish, restaurant you can find.  They had Mad Cow problems and when i was there NOONE ate beef---- even McDonalds had a veggieburger --it was the most popular item with my friends---
