Question:

What restaurant should I try in downtown Raleigh?

I'm looking for something cheap (we're talking $5-$10 entree cheap), nothing fancy (obviously). Maybe a good burger or pizza. The restaurant needs to be able to seat a party of about 20.

  2. That's a pretty low price range for downtown...are you looking lunch or dinner?  If lunch, pretty easy.

    If dinner, it could be difficult, but here's a couple ideas:  

    There's an El Rodeo Mexican restaurant in City Market that has specials often in that range.

    Hard Times Cafe on Glenwood South may have some burgers and stuff (bowl of chili perhaps) in that range too.
