What restaurant would you recommend in Canberra?

I want to take my parents somewhere nice, they will be visiting me for the first time since I moved.

Why not take them for Yum Cha? I go to both the New Shanghai and Four Rivers in Dickson and have no complaints about either. Some other options are:

* The Charcoal Grill: A Canberra institution, its been there for decades and is a good place if your parents are a little more traditional in their tastes.However steer clear if theyre vegetarians! Their speciality is steak, they do it VERY well.

* Dubrows at the Narrabundah shops, fantastic ambiance, great food and very good service for a Canberra restaurant.

Zafarellis in Dixon is great so it Portia. Depends how ritzy you want to get...Chaiman and Yip is divine.
