What restaurants/food is good for someones' first date?

I need restaurant names and food types that I can eat on a first date!

SEAFOOD- B0nefish grill is dressy and romantic

STEAK-   Out back steak house  cassual delcious

Hot dog/Hamburger- Boaedwalks any where really

i would go with the old stand-by's for first dates:

no pasta (nothing worse that "slurping")...so avoid italian

red lobster

they all have  very diverse menus to choose from...you can get everything from salad, to chicken, steak, burgers, or vegiterian

Go to somewhere casual where the food isn't too messy or sloppy.  An italian or american food place (like a TGI Friday's or Olive Garden) are decent first date spots.  But I don't know where you live or if you have those around you.  Good luck!

Ah... first dates are always great. I wouldn't go somewhere that is too super nice. I would recommend a local restaurant that's got a good atmosphere. Anywhere you can go where there is live music (except a mariachi band... ha) is always entertaining and fun. if you want to stick to chain restaurants i would recommend bonefish for seafood, carrabbas for Italian, or a semi-casual steak place would be nice as well.

I avoid chain places like the plague.

Their food contains little nutritional value and even less "care & love."

Places like Chili's, Olive Garden or Friday's are where secretaries go for half price margarita's after work & do karaoke. You should do something a bit upscale (but not too) for a first date. Local establishments are PHENOMENOL. Their menu's are better planned and just seem to be more romantic all over.
