  1. maybe just try to explain what's going on to them. unless they are real young like 5 years old.

  2. What if the kid provoked the favoritism by being a little brat?

  3. Kids somewhere don't seem to think parents don't have any rights yet when there kid acts out in public everyone thinks the parents are slackers. Apparently you saw the situation as they made me act jealous for favoring the other sibling (and sometimes they do even if its subconcious) so you need to have a sit down. Shock your parents buy saying can we have a family meeting tonight it will only take a few minutes but you want to discuss something. Then tell them how you saw the situation (if they interupt just say please let me get this out then ea. of you take your turn. ) Also you have to be open minded about their side. I may be they were wrong and it may be you just perceived it as something else. I totally know how you feel because I had a parent that did that alot to me and it causes anger and jealousy even later in life. Hope it all goes well.

  4. It's probably because the parents don't see that they are favoring on child over another or because they don't want to see it. Since you are an "uninvolved" third party you need to sit them down and explain to them that they are blatantly favoring one child over the other and that is the cause of the childs jealous behavior. Hopefully having someone call them out on it will make the see what they are doing and try to stop. Just make sure you subtly point it out everytime they do it.

  5. all they are doing is causing a problem that will break down any relationship the two children have between them. but I'm sure you have met people who just didn't need kids
