i need to know what rivers run through the ozark plateau in oklahoma and any lakes or mountains or any other info i need to no to do a brochure for school and pictures would be nice thanks

  1. By definition almost no rivers run "through" a plateau because it is raised above the surroundings, so rivers run around it or off of it.

    Here is some information about the small part that is in Oklahoma beside the western boundry river named in one of the other answers.

  2. dont know of any small rivers as most run into the arkansaw river and its really call the boston mtns. then below that is (have to look up spellin on this one ) watchatall mtns but its all the ozark plateau as for lake dont think beaver gose into ok. or the bufflo river i think hits the ark. river and as far as the coner of mo. thats the limit of the ozarks but there are some small lakes and river there that gose into ks, then ok. get you a map off the internet about ozark lakes and rivers that help the best then me even though i lived in the ozarks all my life and travel from one end to the other so good luck but give the internet a try at driffernt locals good luck
