  1. Pat Benetar may have one of the highest as she's a trained Operatic, but I certainly think Pete Steele of Type O Negative has the lowest vocal range.

    Low: Elvis, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix

    High:Robert Plant, Freddie Mercury, Bob Dylan

  13. Geddy is too obvious...  What about Mark Slaughter, Kelly Groucutt, Barry Gibb & that one dude from Air Supply for 'highest'.

    Peter Steele (hands down) for deepest voice! (type o negative).

    Honorable mentions:  Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen.

    Best 'highest/deepest' duos:  Air Supply, ELO (w Jeff Lynne & Kelly Groucutt) & The Cars (w/ Ric Ocasek (deep) & Ben Orr (high)  ;P

    Deepest (hmm, tough) I've heard them sing low:

    As for the lowest, Johnny Cash, Andrew Eldritch (Sisters Of Mercy) and Jyrki 69 (69 Eyes) are all eligible.
