  2. They just talk and talk and talk and talk. Actually they do nothing except get in the way of those who actually do something useful.

  3. Their mission is to promote peace through negotiation rather than the use of military forces and this organization was created as a response of World War 2. Other mission are humanitarian which is a part in helping to change or compromise through different kinds of assistance.

    Some countries want to use force rather than diplomacy and some use their position to get their agenda and this is part of the reason why it has been somewhat effective. Corruption has made it lose some credibility. Many who criticize the United Nations have forgotten that their country's leader and government has been corrupt and have lost credibility perhaps more than the UN.

  7. My brother had a job where he worked with countries that have shared protected areas. He graduated from this job and now works for the UN. He supervises protected areas worldwide. There is alot of diplomacy that he does all over the world with the goal of protecting the environment.
