Think Mariachi Band.

Also, if you live in NYC, just ride the 7 train around 5-6pm. These 3 guys get on the train with their sombreros and guitars and perform from Queensboro Plaza to Grand Central.

Well think of a mariachi band.   Those can show you some of the instruments they play.  Music played a role in ceremonies like the Day of The Dead.  They also have wooden recorders.  That's all I an honestly think of so glad 2 help u!
