  1. it depends where you live and what daycare/school it goes to.

  2. It really does depend on each community.

African tribes and north american indian tribes are a great example of true community involvement.

Also new york city, bronx good for us examples.

Then look at small cities with the lack of it.

No rec center, boys girl clubs ect...

Notice a higher crime rate with young adults.

You can go to individual city websites to see the crime rate index, average age, median household income, and population.

Springfield oregon and colorado springs colorado are good examples of this.

  3. I think it depends more on his or her inviorment Who the child hangs with. And most of all home inviorment I think it depends on how the childs home is and how the parents are around the child.

  4. In my humble opinion, an over rated one.  I know what Hillary said about a villiage raising a child but what we fail to appreciate in this country is that sometimes, the other villagers are busy.  There just isn't enough emphasis (and responsibility) placed upon an immediate family.

By the time the child starts to meaningfully interact with the community he or she is probably no longer a "young child" but a 'tween.  I dunno.  That's just my opinion.  I could be wrong.
