What does it come after/before? (ex. Before the run-off stage?)

Thank you!

  1. It comes after precipitation, as snow falls and lands on the glacier, this becomes compacted and hardens into ice under pressure from more snow above. It ensures that the time between precipitation and the water getting to the sea is FAR greater, thus releasing valuable water to some regions during the dry season. It can keep barren regions fertile.

--oops i forgot to mention, yes it comes before the run off stage, although it is technically part of it, as the water is running of the land, just very very slowly, and in the form of a glacier ;)
