First of all Police are not paid a salary  they are paid by the hour. Secondly, Police services  have a rank structure, and the higher  your rank, the more money you are paid.

So your question is going to be impossible to answer, without more details, like what rank, and with how many years of experience ? Uniform coppers don't get paid as much as Detectives  do , and a Sgt makes more than a Constable does.
