Question:

What sandwitch is healthy in subway fast food restaruant?

pretty good answers but don't state the obvious. I started to eat at subway and ordered a ft long steak and cheese which is very unhealthy for the heart. I'm guessing the cheese isn't good for the body either. Tomorrow, i'm going to eat turkey with wheat bread and everything on it. (would this be healthy)?

  1. I haven't been to Subway much, but I know that turkey is very healthy meat without a lot of fat and bad stuff for you.

Any of the ones listed as six grams of fat or less...my favorite is turkey.  Careful what you put on it though - cheese, mayo and ranch add lots of fat.  Stay far away from meatball and bacon.  And choose honey whole wheat for the healthiest bread.  The best topping is sweet onion sauce, it's delicious and fat free.

    Unlike most fast food places, Subway does a good job of pointing out what is healthy and what is not.  And you can always check out www.subway.com and click on nutrition info for accurate info on all of the subs.  Don't be mislead by the listings of only the 6" size without cheese or condiments.

  4. teryaki chicken with sweet onion sauce, no cheese, lettuce tomato cuke and if you like banana peppers

  5. Basically anything with meat in it. The meat is loaded with preservatives and additives. The bread you have to watch out for aswell. Every time I go there I always get the honey oat, because it has the least ingredients in it opposed to all the other ones - all harmless

    Almost every bread there has hydrogenated oils in them, not to mention 50+ other ingredients. So I say pretty much all of it is unhealthy. Ofcourse its always better than Mcdonald's though.

  7. I imagine they are all marketed as being healthy, but I don't eat them because, in my experience, they all taste the same.

  10. almost everything at subway is pretty good for you. MUCH better than eating at McDonalds or a burger place
