Could you please advise what a good sat nav is. I'd like the following:

- Less than £100

- European maps better but not absolutely necessary

- Easy to use

- Updates automatically

- Remembers places like home etc

- Recalculates route if I accidently go another way

Many thanks

  1. Get a tom tom off ebay for cheap.

  2. TOM TOM.

  3. Any TOM TOM...

They easy to use, and does all the above and more!

  4. get a Garmin Nuvi 250 - got everything you've named as standard and they're dirt cheap at Argos now.   Mines brilliant....

  5. I have just got a sony u53 and i am very impressed with it,

but if you go to the argos website they have got a promotion on sat navs at the mo!

  6. Garmin is the best out there.  You can buy cheap ones on e-bay and add on by downloads from the Garmin site.  I have one and would be literally "lost" without it.

TomTom does not have a good back-up internet service.

  7. A tomtom

  8. I have a TomTom One XL. It cost me £120 but that was about 6 months ago, probably cheaper now. I#m not sure about Euro maps, but it does all the rest :-)
