What scent do straight women/g*y men prefer on a man?

Question

Is natural -- bar soap, neutral deodorant, and toothpaste -- good, or should there be an additional scent?

If so, should it be spicy? Smoky? Fresh? Something else entirely?

I'm nineteen, so I don't want a scent that is too old for me, and I don't want something that is too costly either.

(Right now it is mostly bar soap and Old Spice's "fresh" deodorant.)

Straight preppy women like Abercrombie & Fitch cologne. When I smell it on a guy, its heaven. But it is quite expensive, so Adidas, Tag, and Axe is pretty good. But do not put a lot on. I hate it when guys cover themselves with those. Makes my eyes water!

Old Spice is c**p. I just like a regular smell, nothing special.

My favorites are In Motion and Curve for Men.

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE anything from Hollister.

And my brother wears stuff from Aeropostale and

it smells amazing.

Natural scent is good, but a subtle cologne is best. :)

I love old spice!  Their body wash and deodorant is enough to make me swoon, you don't even need the cologne, though that's not bad, either.  I'm also a sucker for Aspen.
