What school is best for my son?

I AM A YOUNG MOM WHO WENT TO PUBLIC SCHOOL. MY SON IS FOUR AND WILL BE STARTING SCHOOL NEXT YEAR I AM NOT SURE WHAT SCHOOL TO PUT HIM. I KNOW PUBLIC GIVES HIM A LOOK AT THE REAL WORLD. PRIVATE SCHOOL WILL GIVE HIM A BETTER CHANCE OF GETTING A BETTER EDUCATION. I AM WRRIED I MIGHT NOT MAKR THE RIGHT CHOICE. MY HUSBAND AND I MAKE ROUGHLY 40,000 A YEAR HOW MUCH DO PRIVATE SCHOOLS COST AND WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?

you better do a research by yourself by going to typical schools

My ONLY concern w/private schools is the class sizes. and of course, that's not the same on all private schools. my nieces go to a private school and the older they get-the smaller the classes get. they are in 9th and 10th grades and there are only 2 other girls in the 9th grade w/my niece and they got mad at her for some reason-so there was really no one left for her to be friends with.

BUT... your going to have those kinds of problems anywhere! It will just be something different with different friends at the public school. If we could afford it we would most certainly be sending our 2 children to private school. They are expensive (all different-I would call all the ones in your area) but if you can do it then I say GO FOR IT!  Public schools dont really give them a look at the real world any more than private schools do. (my opinion) Plus you can put him in sports, gymnastics, karate or whatever he is interested in to let him meet a wide range of different kids.
