What school public or specialize?

my son is 3 going on to 4 years old and he speaks english n spanish, he can read and write both language very good. His going to enter pre k. But which school should I send him too?

  1. Wow I don't know many 3 year olds that can read and write in English and Spanish.... I don't think your son needs Pre-K he should be fine to just go into Kindergarten. They need to be reading to pass Kinder these days so it sounds like you already got it under control.


  2. You are very lucky that your almost 4 year old so far ahead of his peers.

    If you can find a school that is a charter school or one that specializes in keeping children challenged your best bet is to go with that.

    Not many of our public schools are equipped for such a student as you have here.  In public school he may become bored and burn out at a very early age.

    Find a school that has a low student to teacher ratio and then check out the philosophy of the school and how they run.  Check in with the teacher that might be teaching your student.  If you like what you see then go with that school.  You are in charge of your students education so it is up to you as to what you want for this child.

    If possible you might consider homeschooling also.
