  1. Go somewhere where u think u will learn better and get educated more! If u go to the school with the higher GPAs u most likely wil stil be able to talk to ur friends! Listen to ur heart & make the best choice

  2. Education comes first!

  3. i think u should go to the other high school w/o ur friends. cuz education is more important and also u can hang out with ur friends during the weekends or during holidays.

  4. ok 10 years from now you might not even no them any more and you stuck with a cereer that you don't want cuz you was a follower so NO DON'T DO IT

  5. definately the school with all your friends. High school is so much easier when you have your friends going along and helping you through it. And it would be hard to make friends that you love as much as the ones you have now if you pick the other school

  6. i had this same choice. i chose to go to school without all my friends and it was one of the best decisions i have ever made.

however, i am definitely not as close to my old friends as i used to be, but i am soo happy with the new friends i have made. and the school i go to is much much better

but go with your gut feeling. don't make a decision you will regret. keep in mind that if you go with your friends, you will just be doing the same old stuff.

  7. that's tough if u luv ur friends that much stick with them b/c you might end up being miserable in the new school

but if u want a fresh start go to the new one, you may never knw the great ppl u wud meet

i hate redistricting!! uggghh they r doing that in my county too [fairfax county in va]

  8. Okay, lets look at it this way. PEOPLE CHANGE. I, myself was ignorant and went to the "friends" choice. I was miserable. Especially because it was my freshman year in high school, and that's when EVERYONE changes. So the people you are going there for, may not be your friends forever. School is one thing that you need to be self centered about. I would go with the  less s****. rich kids, less of a drug problem. A smaller school, more diverse, higher GPAs. Plus, the smaller school allows you to be more hands on in a class room, you will most likely be taught better as well, see as in how the teacher can focus on less kids. It broadens your friendship range too. Both of these schools are obviously close to you, so think about all the new people and opportunities you can be missing out on at this school your friends aren't going to. YOU CAN ALWAYS MAKE TIME FOR THEM AFTER SCHOOL, OR ON THE WEEKENDS. ;)

  9. High school is a time for change. People grow and change over the years. While you and your friends may think it will be cool to all go to the same school together, it's not necessarily right.

My daughter went to a different high school than her best friend and the girls are as close as they ever were before! Plus, my daughter has made more friends and those friends are "BFF's" with my daughter's first "BFF."

My daughter's only problem is that her school has the s****. kids (aka "Jocks" & "Preps"). Now, she wants to be homeschooled (in fact, her boyfriend and another of her "BFF's" at the school are also going to be homeschooled; my daughter and her friend are going to be part of an online cyber-school, while her boyfriend is going to be homeschooled by his mom).

Okay, long story short: Go to the school with fewer problems and a better chance of an education. That is what will get you into college and a good career. You will also expand your social network and may meet people who are more compatible with you than your current group of friends, if it is possible.

Good luck and have fun in school, which ever one you go to!
