  1. relay race it seemed like miles but it was realy a short distance oh n the skipping race i remember coming 2nd

  2. rounders.

  3. Too late. Rounders. 1970. Teachers against a student team. I left the UK in 1971. Not because of rounders. We (teachers) won.

  4. Soccer and cricket...I was in Jamaica!

  5. We did all the ones you mentioned.  The egg on the spoon was never real though, we had these strange egg shaped "plaster of paris" type creations!!

We also did an obstacle race where you had to wriggle between the rungs of a ladder amongst other odd things.

Glad I don't have to do that now - I'd never get through ladder rungs anymore!!

  6. Relay race with little bean-bags!!! Those were the days!! x

  7. How about the classic - dressing up race.

  8. you have covered all i remember.

  9. Backwards race, tunnel races (where a number of children lined up; a basketball was thrown through the tunnel of legs and then the back child picked it up and ran to the front) and tug-of-war come to mind.

  10. kickball
