What schools do I have a chance at???

I get ok good grades, i did mock trial, i made it to the state geography bee competition, i was in our gifted and talented program at school, and i am a very good swimmer.

I am applying to these schools:

1.The Hotchkiss School

2.Choate Rosemary Hall

3.The Lawerenceville School

4.The Hill School

5.Loomis Chaffe

Also if you can tell me about the dorm life, and if you make friends right away, and what cliques there are. Thanks!

You state you have "OK" grades but you cannot have just "OK" grades if you plan on getting accepted into Hotchkiss, Lawrenceville, or Hill. You need to be an EXCELLENT student and usually have been involved in some kind of activity where you showed leadership skills. Have you noticed that these school only accept 20-25% of applicants?

The easier out of those five would probably be Choate, but go for all of them if you think you have what it takes.

It doesn't matter if you come from a rich family. These are preppy elite schools, they are already littered with enough rich kids as it is.

It depends on what your GPA and if you have any leadership positions. Dorm life is good for the first year since that's when you mostly make friends with the others in your hall/roommate.

If you're related to George Bush, it wont matter what your grades are, you can get into yale.
