  1. Prince William and Prince Harry attended independent schools in southern England. In their early years, they were  pupils at Mrs Jane Mynors' nursery school and the pre-preparatory Wetherby School, both in West London. They  attended Ludgrove School in Berkshire, a preparatory school. After passing an entrance exam, they went on to Eton College in Berkshire. Prince William attended the University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland.

    Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie began their early education at Upton House School, Windsor, Berkshire. From there the sisters attended Coworth Park School in Surrey. Their higher education began at St. George's School in Ascot, Berkshire an all-girls school. For a time it was suggested by Beatrice's father that his daughters would be educated abroad at Aiglon College in Switzerland. Those plans were shelved once the school became embroiled in public controversy.

    Prince Charles of Wales first attended Hill House School in West London, and later the Cheam Preparatory School in Berkshire. The Prince finished his education at Gordonstoun, a private boarding school in the north east of Scotland.

    Prince Andrew received his early education at home, before attending Heatherdown Preparatory School, near Ascot, Berkshire. In September 1973, he also attended Gordonstoun, in Morayshire, Scotland. From January to June 1977, Prince Andrew went on an exchange programme to Lakefield College School, Ontario, Canada.

    Prince Edward attended Gibbs School, in Kensington, West London. In 1972, he went to Heatherdown Preparatory School near Ascot in Berkshire. Following in the footsteps of his father and brothers, he attended Gordonstoun School in Scotland, and enrolled at Jesus College, University of Cambridge.
