What scooter to buy?

Question

I have Never driven a bike or scooter. What should I know when looking to buy one? I wiegh 160lbs. I Want to be able to go 70-75 mph. Is air cooled system better than water? What cc scooter will go that fast? and is it too heavy for a woman to pick up if it tips over? One more big ? for me is, what are the pro's and con's of having a wind sheild?

The best is the Suzuki Burgman 400 or 650, the 650 Burgman is more suited to sustain speeds of 70-75 mph, the 400 will do that speed but its running that speed at its power limit.

These scooters are automatic, no gear shift or clutch lever and they have a water cooled engine.

A water cooled engine is better than an air cooled engine cause all parts of the engine with the same temperate will work more efficient.

The Suzuki Burgman has an adjustable windshield that you can adjust to keep all the wind off of you.

I know a guy that owns a Suzuki Burgman and he can cruise at 70 mph smoking a cigarette and at the same time he can hear the birds singing, and with the giant under seat storage area, he can haul 7 bags of groceries and 2 bags of lawn fertilizer
