  1. You in college?  If so, I would strongly recommend joining the ROTC (either Naval or Air Force)

  2. I'm thinking that Shaun C misread your question.

Pilots are officers.  Officers don't take the ASVAB.

  3. get a score equal to 85 or higher on your asvab with a gt score over 110 and you are safe. even if your asvab scores are a litle down with a gt score of 110 or above you gonna definitely get through

  4. Enlisted folks don't become fighter pilots, so I dunno where the previous answer came from.  The ASVAB is for enlistment: the AF Officer Qualifying Test is for potential officers.

Enlisted aircrew's a different story  though: that can be a very rewarding career-especially if you're single.

    To fly fighters you must:

    1- Be an officer

2- To be an officer you must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution AND complete a commissioning program

3- Be accepted into and EXCEL at Pilot Training.
