Question:

What season and time does the red spider lily bloom? And could it bloom in Arizona?

I'm interested in this flower but I have no idea when it blooms and also I can't find any bulbs/seeds here in AZ. Could I grow it in a pot? or does have to be in something like a field?

  2. yOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET IT MAIL ORDER. iT IS CALLED lYCORIS - sPIDER lILY. cOMES IN rED, YELLOW, AND PINK i THINK.  

    iTS BEEN A WHILE SINCE i HAD SOME, BUT IT SEEMS LIKE IT BLOOMS EARLY SUMMER. tHE FOLIAGE SPROUTS AT A DIFFERENT TIME THAN THE BLOOM. lIKES SUN, AND PROBABLY A RICH SOIL. wILL PROBABLY HAVE TO GIVE IT WATER THOUGH. yOUR SEASON MAY BE DIFFERENT THERE,.

      c**p, sorry for the caps. I have big fingers. I always liked the spider lily. Look for it in bulb catalogs, which usually come out before fall. Or check the local garden center where you live.
