What season of er is it when that guy gets him arm cut off from the helicopter??

i thought the helicopter lands on top of him, and he loses his arm another way. but i'm probably wrong.

it's one of the later seasons. not exactly sure which one though, sorry.

Romano loses his arm season 9  episode 1.  That episode gave me the chills.

Yes. It's season 9 when Dr. Romano gets his arm cut off by the helicopter. That was my fav season, I loved that character. I know I am in  definate minority on that, but I thought he was great. I stopped watching ER once they killed the character off.

Spoiler- he later gets killed by another helicopter.. he was afraid to go up on the roof  so something happened later and he walked outside and a helicopter fell on him
