What seed needs to be in water before planted????

I forgot what seed of a fruit needs to be in water before planted???????? help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

basically you can do any you want. all it does is speed up the sprouting process. beans and peas usually get put in water first. but they don't need to be.

it is good to put all seed into water at least 24 hours before planting..if the seed is soft you only put it for 12 hours..hard seeds for 24 hour..go have fun..
