Can anyone tell me the name of someone who, specifically because of selective inbreeding, was considered to be a genius?

  1. No evidence exists for the inheritance of "genius" level IQ's coming out of pairings, done selectively, in fact, the evidence is that IQ tends toward the "mean" of the parents, (i.e. the average of their IQ's), it is , and will probably remain an unpredictable quantity for decades to come, by the way, did you know, that the IQ of the highest 10% of binmen, is as high as the lowest 10% of doctors, ? A point to ponder, I think.....also the IQ is not the predominant factor in any form of success that can be measured, (except for solving IQ tests)

It takes little part in social success or in financial terms, and "genius" is  a term that is bandied about, far too often, it came about during the early part of the last century, when the military, intelligensia, ( a contradiction in terms, I fear), "established" a link between the officer class, and high IQ's, it is demonstrably not the case, and I served time in a troop that had 3 soldiers with higher IQ's than the officer in charge, (one of so called genius level and two of IQ's of more than 130), and more life experience. In fact genius, is as likely to appear in the "lower orders", (as some people describe them) as in better off homes, the truth is that many assumptions about intelligence are based on dishonesty, and class bigotry, than real intelligence, as defined by fitness or suitability of a person to do a job, including the belief that the pretty people are generally smarter, and therefore deserve promotion, or a higher value in society, (just when did you see a genuinely pretty Russian scientist ?), and these people are picked, rigorously, by expensive state programs, where failure,  is really a one way trip to a gulag, but most of all it is not all it is cracked up to be, causing serious mental and emotional problems, it is said that it is a thin line from genius to madness, and for many young, pressurised genius's, leads to despair and depression, and sometimes death......
