These days I'm not entirely certain that anything is selling especially well. I am constantly getting 10% off emails from ebay as well as emails pointing me to auctions where nothing has been bid. It doesn't even seem like people are interested in deeply discounted items.

It appears to be a bad time to be an ebay seller.

lots of things sell well, clothes do pretty well as there needed by everyone. But they need to be of quality, you won't find that cheap non brand clothes will sell. Ebay is about getting quality at a cheaper price. Anything branded will sell pretty quick if its at a less the normal price, perfume, make-up, shoes, electronics etc. Computer parts do well, people will be looking for something to fix there pc quick and cheaply. everynone dreeds the idea of having to go to PC world and paying prices well over average just to get there pc back up and running quickly. But ebay is about more then just selling the item, you have togive good service, fast delivery and be able to communicate well - that is what keeps an ebay shop going. Ebay works onthe feedback scheme and people will buy from you if you have a good reputation!
