water heats up from seas,oceans and lakes due to sun's heat and turns into vapor when it rise to high levels it cools down and remain suspended in the air   which are known as clouds when this process is repeated and water condensation takes place water droplets become too heavy to remain suspended in the air and they comes down to earth in the form of rain
