  1. the choice between 82abn div and the Marines ? why waste your time in the marines ? if you want to be the best, serve with the best, and that is the 82nd ABN DIV.

  2. im sure its natural to get cold feet when time comes to take action, but in the end its up to you if you want to continue or purue a non military career.  If you decide to throw in the towel just know that there is no shame in that at all.  If you decide to join, well, you could do enlist in one and then the other, but you may not want to join the other service later for a variety of reasons; such as, you fall in love with whatever you're in, you end up hating the military altogether, you don't want to abandon your brothers for a different service, etc.  I would say go army becasue they have better technology, and like you said about airborn and special operations.  if you do join the marines make sure you don't do it because its more "prestigious", thats just propoganda.

  3. Figure out what you atually want to do in the Armed Forces, after you do that...everything will fall into place.

Talk to a recruiter for both branches, see what they have to offer to get you where you want to go in your future.

    Best wishes.
