In every community there are hungry people.

In your town there are people who are not making enough money to pay their utility bills.

There are elderly people in nursing homes who never get a visitor.

There are little boys and girls who need an adult to give them advice and help them with their studies.

HOUSTON- food, shelter, medical, people to pick up trash on their off time, people to demolish abandoned buildings, to clean up and mow vacant lots. Houston needs more places for children to go to experience good old fashioned fun (bobbing for apples, playing jump rope, hopscotch). Neighborhood watch services are greatly needed. Houston is so large and there aren't enough police. If you want your neighborhood to stay nice you have to be part of it, or pay someone to do that for you. Anything you can think of that is nice or helpful, someone around you is doing with out. They don't have a ride or money to get to the Dr. they don't have food to eat, they spend their youth learning to sell drugs, prostitute, etc. when there is not a lot of resources for minority people. An older man may live two doors down and needs a ride to the grocery store. He has to wait- his neighbor is community could help him- could service him out of kindness.
