What sets should i buy from for my all white MtG deck?

I play a mono-white MtG deck and i was wondering what sets would be the best to buy from for my play type

My main methods are immobilizing most of the creatures on the field and steadily gaining health and attacking

I play a lot of Enchants that render a monster useless unless they disenchant or tap mana

and i play enchants that buff my creatures and give me life for casting white spells

i play heavy defense

so what sets of cards would benfit me the most?

  1. I have a mono white deck and before a little while ago my deck was completely made up of cards I thought were good and then were thrown into the deck. So then what I did, which is pretty effective and you can keep most of your decks current cards, is make it based around equipments. There is an OK theme deck in Mirrodin that is based around equipments that you can change to fit your deck. It's called Little Bashers and it is mono white. Heres a link for a great site you can order it if you want

I've used them many times and they're great. This deck also comes with Arrest a great card if you are planing on immobilizing your opponents creatures and it even doesn't let them use there activated abilities. And if you're looking for a old but good theme deck that you could take cards from you could go for the Seventh Edition White Deck called Armada. Here's another link:

This deck has great enchantments like Serra's Embrace, which gives a creature +2/+2, Flying and attacking doesn't cause it to tap, or Glorious Anthem which give everyone of your creatures +1/+1.

  2. There were all kinds of cards from different sets that were pretty shweet.  I think the set with the best white cards was Judgment. It was back in the day of the Odyssey block and was released after Torment, which was pretty reliant on black.  That would be a worthy set to start looking into as well as the Collector's Editions. (10th Edition being the most recent)
