What setting should I use to preheat a pan to 325 F?

I need to preheat a non stick frying pan (on the stovetop) to 325 F, what setting should I use (low, high, med high etc)?

  1. I have never heard of a specific temperature being used for a frying pan.  Med-high sounds about right but there is no way of having an accurate temp.  What are you making?


  2. when in doubt get yourself a Laser thermometer, there $5 to $50 bucks at harbor freight tools .com if you dont have a store near you

  3. medium to medium high, because my non stick grill high is 400 degrees.  

  4. Most likely medium.

  5. I would preheat it on medium heat.

  6. Medium high, depending upon what you are cooking.
