What settings do i need to use for video on iPod Touch?

Question

basically im putting all my films on iTunes in prep for getting a Touch but im not sure what settings to use, i put it in 480x320 in .mp4 but it looks too square, i thought the iTouch was widescreen...i know the aspect ratio is 3:2 but in sony vegas it only has decimal numbers...

anyone know the exact details needed?
